The LTC nurse needs to be organized and work well with axially staff and facilities manager to provide safe quality care at all times. These self-directed nurses ensure they follow doctor’s orders to start, monitor, and perform hemodialysis continuously. They vigilantly monitor the patient and equipment to ensure safe treatment. They have increased knowledge of kidney function and its effect on electrolytes working closely with the doctors and hemodialysis team.
