Patient population is mostly substance abuse patients that are relatively stable, however, should a patient become more acute, theyll be transferred to the ER.
Nurses will be expected to be able to draw blood, perform IV cannulation, hang IV fluids, etc, so they will need strong medsurg/tele experience. Must understand CIWA/COWA tools and procedures.

They are responsible for preparing delivery rooms, Prepping patients, Sterilizing and preparing instruments, caring for babies immediately after birth and explaining after birth care to parents. Labor delivery nurses work in birthing rooms as well as assist in OR during c sections. They are responsible for monitoring g the mother and baby through the birthing process and informing the doctor of progress and any complications. One or more year experience and Basic life support certification required.

The case manager interviews the patient evaluates the patients’ needs and coordinates care. Such care includes physical rehab, psychosocial, psychological, equipment and medical treatments. It requires someone with great interpersonal and problem solving skills. They utilize all resources available to arrange treatments, equipment, transportation etc. They keep care notes on patient’s progress and communicate with the doctor and interdisciplinary team. Job Type: Description:- Hemodialysis nurses are specially trained nurses that care for patients with Kidney failure through hemodialysis treatment. These self-directed nurses ensure they follow doctor’s orders to start, monitor, and perform hemodialysis continuously. They vigilantly monitor the patient and equipment to ensure safe treatment. They have increased knowledge of kidney function and its effect on electrolytes working closely with the doctors and hemodialysis team. They also are responsible for education the patient and families on the procedure and giving emotional support. Hemodialysis can be performed in hospitals, supervised home settings or outpatient dialysis centers. One year Hemodialysis experience and BCLS required. ACLS preferred.
