Job Type: Description:- Case Management Nurses work in hospitals, rehabs, long term care centers and home care coordinating care of patients on an individual basis. The case manager interviews the patient evaluates the patients’ needs and coordinates care. Such care includes physical rehab, psychosocial, psychological, equipment and medical treatments. It requires someone with great interpersonal and problem solving skills. They utilize all resources available to arrange treatments, equipment, transportation etc. They keep care notes on patient’s progress and communicate with the doctor and interdisciplinary team. Case managers follow and encourage the patients’ participation in the treatment plan to avoid multiple hospital admissions and excess costs in care. RN license, at least one year recent case management experience required.
Job Type: Description:- The basic function of this position is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate all nursing activities for a specific area of a nursing unit in conjunction with the head nurse or charge nurse of the unit. Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, family members,significant others, client facility staff, volunteers, physician office staff, Nurses 24/7 administrative staff, and other agency nursing personnel, supervisors, payroll and staffing personnel. An Operating Room nurse is a member of a medical team of professionals working together to complete a successful surgical operation. The operating room nurse conducts a pre-surgery interview with the patient so they are made aware of any potential problems and to help construct a plan for surgery. Operating room nurses are the main line of communication between the patient and their family and the operating physician. The operating room nurse educates and ensures patients and families about the procedure they are about to undergo. During the surgery itself the operating room nurse will assist the operating physician in the procedure, monitor the patients vital signs and maintain a sterile environment. After the surgery is complete the operating room nurse will continue to assist the patient with their recovery by administering medicine for pain relief, cleaning and dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs and the healing process. They will teach the patient how to care for themselves after they leave the hospital.
Job Type: Description:- Endoscopy Nurses are nurses that specialize in assisting doctors in an endoscopy suite. These nurses have specialized knowledge of gastrointestinal conditions and diseases. The nurse is responsible for the intake of the patient including history, obtaining and reviewing lab work and preparing patient for the procedure. They provide the patient with education, before and aftercare instructions and emotional support. The endoscopy nurse must assess, evaluate, and intervene when necessary to ensure patient safety during diagnostic tests or procedures. They are responsible for checking and maintaining equipment, ensuring sterile technique, monitoring and documenting the procedure from admission to safe discharge. At least on year recent experience in Endoscopy suite and current BCLS Certification required.
