The LTC nurse needs to be organized and work well with axially staff and facilities manager to provide safe quality care at all times. The RNs role is to oversee patient care, monitor seriously ill residents as necessary, direct and supervise CNAs and LPNs, consult with resident physician on medications, treatments and care plans for patients. Must be educated in laws and regulations of long term health and possess knowledge of public health issues. One year or more recent long term health experience and BCLS experience required.
