Job Type: Description:- The critical care nurse functions under the supervision of the head nurse or charge nurse and provides total nursing care to patients. This involves assessing, planning, administering and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients. An Operating Room nurse is a member of a medical team of professionals working together to complete a successful surgical operation. The operating room nurse conducts a pre-surgery interview with the patient so they are made aware of any potential problems and to help construct a plan for surgery. Operating room nurses are the main line of communication between the patient and their family and the operating physician.
