Job Type: Description:- Mother Baby Nurse is a Registered Nurse have the dual role of caring for mothers in the postpartum period and caring for the infants. They utilize nursing process to assess, make care plans, implement and educate mothers and families on the care of the infant. Mother/ Baby nurses are good natured and can work independently and with other team members to deliver high quality, safe care to their patients. One or more current year experience in Mother Baby Unit and BCLS certification is required.
Job Type: Description:- The Emergency Room nurse functions under the supervision of the head nurse or charge nurse and provides total nursing care to patients. This involves assessing, planning, administering, evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients, administering all treatments and medications, and maintaining complete and accurate records of nursing assessments and nursing care. The Emergency Room nurse must possess expertise in recognizing other complications in the intensive care patient based on the patients disease process and work closely with physicians and other team members in implementing patient care. The nurse is responsible for operating all technological equipment utilized in the unit. The functions performed require judgment based upon the applications of scientific and nursing knowledge and are guided by the established philosophy and policies of the organization and the unit. The Emergency Room nurse shall have a comprehensive knowledge of emergency room nursing. Nurses should be trained for advanced, emergency and trauma nursing, Must demonstrate ability to use advanced physical assessment skills as well as specialized nursing knowledge to handle emergency situations utilizing specialized equipment, procedures and medications specific to injury or disease process.
