The basic function of this position is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate all nursing activities for treatment of a cardiac patient in conjunction with the head nurse or charge nurse of the unit.
The Telemetry Nurse has received additional specialized training in cardiac monitoring, recognizing, and advanced knowledge in emergency treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The Telemetry Nurse is responsible for continuous monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation level and cardiac electrical activity of patients in a telemetry unit. Telemetry nurses keep track of this information and take quick action to treat patients who develop problems. Telemetry nurses mainly care for patients recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery.

An Operating Room nurse is a member of a medical team of professionals working together to complete a successful surgical operation. Job Type: Description:- Interventional Radiology Nurses are nurses that assist in minimally invasive procedures done using various types radiological imagining including CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound and XRAY. Procedures range from sterile central line placement to tissue removal for biopsies. The radiology nurse is involved in the intake of the patient, explaining the procedure, pre and post care instructions, emotional support as well as being involved in monitoring of the patient and assisting the doctor during a procedure. They are responsible for complete and accurate charting of the procedure and its outcome, placing IV lines and administering medications as ordered by a physician. The case manager interviews the patient evaluates the patients’ needs and coordinates care. Such care includes physical rehab, psychosocial, psychological, equipment and medical treatments.
