Job Type: Description:- Operating Room nurses provide care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures. An Operating Room nurse is a member of a medical team of professionals working together to complete a successful surgical operation. The operating room nurse conducts a pre-surgery interview with the patient so they are made aware of any potential problems and to help construct a plan for surgery. Operating room nurses are the main line of communication between the patient and their family and the operating physician. The operating room nurse educates and ensures patients and families about the procedure they are about to undergo. During the surgery itself the operating room nurse will assist the operating physician in the procedure, monitor the patients vital signs and maintain a sterile environment. After the surgery is complete the operating room nurse will continue to assist the patient with their recovery by administering medicine for pain relief, cleaning and dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs and the healing process. They will teach the patient how to care for themselves after they leave the hospital.

Job Type: Description:- Interventional Radiology Nurses are nurses that assist in minimally invasive procedures done using various types radiological imagining including CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound and XRAY. Procedures range from sterile central line placement to tissue removal for biopsies. The radiology nurse is involved in the intake of the patient, explaining the procedure, pre and post care instructions, emotional support as well as being involved in monitoring of the patient and assisting the doctor during a procedure. They are responsible for complete and accurate charting of the procedure and its outcome, placing IV lines and administering medications as ordered by a physician. They are knowledgeable in equipment, procedures and routine medications as well as their potential effect on the patient. Must be BCLS and ACLS certified and able to utilize critical thinking in emergencies, such as adverse reactions to medications or contrast dye. At least one year recent experience as an Interventional Radiology nurse required as well.

Job Type: Description:- Rehabilitation Nurse is a LPN who works with patients in rehabilitation centers, both inpatient and outpatient for people who have undergone varies surgeries. These nurses are responsible for the daily care of the patients including assessment, care planning, pain management, assistance with activities of daily living, education, encouraging therapy and emotional support of patient and family. Rehabilitation nurse must be able to properly identify and documentation patient progress as well as recognize and intervene with potential concerns.
