Average patient ratio is 1:5-6 normally, but can be up to 8 if census peaks.
Patient population is mostly substance abuse patients that are relatively stable, however, should a patient become more acute, theyll be transferred to the ER.
Nurses will be expected to be able to draw blood, perform IV cannulation, hang IV fluids, etc, so they will need strong medsurg/tele experience. Must understand CIWA/COWA tools and procedures.

Job Type: Description:- Rehabilitation Nurse is a Registered Nurse who works with patients in rehabilitation centers, both inpatient and outpatient for people who have undergone varies surgeries. These nurses are responsible for the daily care of the patients including assessment, care planning, pain management, assistance with activities of daily living, education, encouraging therapy and emotional support of patient and family. Rehabilitation nurse must be able to properly identify and documentation patient progress as well as recognize and intervene with potential concerns. They work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe effective care and assist in discharge planning to aide in recovery at home. One or more experience in Rehab or Med/ Surg Nursing and Basic Life support certification required.

Labor delivery nurses work in birthing rooms as well as assist in OR during c sections. They are responsible for monitoring g the mother and baby through the birthing process and informing the doctor of progress and any complications. One or more year experience and Basic life support certification required.

Job Type: Description:- Step Down Nurses are Registered Nurses that specifically work with stable patients that need specialized monitoring and care. Patients on the Step Down unit are acutely ill and require close monitoring however their condition is not critical enough to require admission to the ICU, conversely patients leaving the ICU may need to go to step down for closer monitoring then the med surg/tele floors can provide. Step Down nurses have extensive knowledge of disease and pathology, they are proficient in cardiac monitoring and utilize critical thinking when assessing, monitoring and implementing care plans. Step down nurses prepare the patient for discharge through encouraging therapies, educating and providing emotional support. They report any changes in condition to the physician and work well with an interdisciplinary team. Step down nurses are able to recognize and act quickly in an emergency.One year current experience in a Step Down, Intermediate Care Unit or ICU required. BCLS and ACLS certification required.
